eBits Services Conseils inc. (“eBits”, “we”) is a digital transformation advisory firm headquartered at 3755-E, rue Matte, Brossard, Quebec J4Y 2P4. This policy explains what personal information we collect on ebits.ca, why, how we protect it, and what your rights are.

We collect two categories of information:

• Information you provide directly — your name, email address, organization name, and the content of your message, when you fill out our contact form.
• Browsing information — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time spent, and referral source, collected automatically through cookies when you browse the site.

3. Why we collect this information

We use this information to respond to your requests, follow up on our exchanges, understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and measure the effectiveness of our communications. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies and tracking tools

The site uses the HubSpot platform for customer relationship management and traffic analysis. HubSpot places cookies that, among other things, recognize your browser on return visits and analyze site traffic in aggregate.

5. Sharing with third parties

We use HubSpot Inc. as a processor to host our forms, email infrastructure, and analytics tools. As a result, this information may be processed or stored outside Quebec. We do not share your personal information with any other third party, except where required by law.

We retain your information for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as long as required by law, after which we securely destroy or anonymize it.

Under Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may at any time:

• request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• withdraw your consent to the collection or use of your information, subject to our legal obligations;
• file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information if you believe your rights have not been respected.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
